About Us
PERSEVERANCE CHURCH: OUR MISSION & MESSAGE
Our Gospel Foundation
Our message is rooted in the Holy Scriptures. We teach how to build a genuine relationship with God the Creator through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
The Word of God instructs us to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, trusting that everything else will follow in its proper time.
Standing Firm on the Word of God
We are not connected to any doctrine or tradition that compromises the Word of God.
Our commitment is to teach the Scriptures in their truth and purity, exactly as God has revealed them. Our solemn vow is to steward the Holy Writ with unyielding integrity, proclaiming the pure, unadulterated Gospel. By honouring the Scriptures as God’s final authority, we ensure your spirit is nourished by His unfiltered light.
A Call to Spiritual Awareness
We live in a world influenced by evil, our spiritual enemy. For this reason, we encourage everyone to avoid following personal desires that lead away from God’s will. Instead, we invite people to walk in the truth of His Word.
What We Encounter in Evangelism
Through our outreach, we meet many people who:
- Believe only in science and doubt God’s existence
- Deny God entirely
- Once followed Christ but became discouraged by other believers or church leaders
We also meet people facing deep personal struggles—rejection, divorce, sickness, depression, shame, and many other challenges that weigh heavily on the heart.
We extend the healing hand of the Gospel to the disillusioned and the brokenhearted, striving to lead every soul away from the shadows of doubt and despair into the luminous, redemptive embrace of a life fully restored in Christ.
Our Response: Scripture by Scripture
Perseverance Church is committed to sharing God’s love through His Word.
We teach, verse by verse, how God cares for us and the steps He invites us to take.
God asks us to make the first step toward Him, and He promises to guide the steps that follow.
A Life of Commitment
Walking with God requires sincere commitment. When we surrender fully to Him and seek HisKingdom first, He takes over what we cannot handle on our own.
True peace begins with total surrender. In surrendering the toil of our own making, we yield to the Sovereign will to orchestrate our days, renewing our faint hearts as conduits of celestial fortitude and eternal assurance.
Understanding the Times
The book of Revelation reminds us of the signs of the last days; times in which the Gospel will be challenged and distorted.
We believe it is more important than ever to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. We must put on the full armour of God, remaining unswerving in our devotion to the original apostolic faith as we watch and wait for the glorious appearing of our Saviour.
MISSION
At Perseverance Church, we believe that the journey of faith is a beautiful adventure. We striveto foster an environment where open hearts, open minds, and open doors allow God to transform lives. In a world that can often feel complicated and uncertain, we are committed to learning together what it truly means to love God and to love our neighbours, both those close by and those far away.
We do not claim to have every answer, but we stand confidently in the unfailing love of God, the life-giving teachings of Jesus Christ, and the gentle guidance of the Holy Spirit. These form our foundation and our hope.
Church is made up of people of all ages and walks of life. Every Sunday, we gather with joy, reverence, and a sense of expectation; worshipping the Lord and then stepping back into theInternal use only - Confidential world to serve with compassion. Through acts of kindness and ministries of care, we aim to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever He leads us.
Perseverance Church exists to recognise, kindle, and nurture the work of God’s Spirit within us as disciples of Christ. Through worship, service, fellowship, study, and prayer, we seek to reflect His grace, love, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Our purpose is to serve. Our mission is to create space for every person to hear the Good News, respond to Christ’s invitation, grow in spiritual maturity, and reach out in love to a world in need. All we do flows from this purpose: to lift up Jesus and make His hope known.
Proclaiming the Gospel
The Perseverance Church is firmly built upon the foundation of Holy Scripture. Our message centres on leading every person into a genuine relationship with God the Creator through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
Seeking the Kingdom First
The Bible instructs us to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, trusting that all other things will be provided in God’s perfect timing. Since the world is shaped by evil and human desire, we are called to walk carefully, guided not by our own impulses but by God’s truth.
Understanding Today’s Challenges
In our outreach, we encounter many who rely solely on science and question God’s existence. Some deny Him entirely, while others who once believed have turned away due to disappointment caused by fellow Christians or leadership failures.
Life presents us with rejection, broken relationships, illness, depression, shame, and many other struggles. These burdens are real and impact each of us.
Our Commitment
In response, Perseverance Church is committed to teaching the Word of God scripture by scripture, revealing the depth of God’s love and the solutions He offers. God promises that when we take the first step toward Him, He will guide every step that follows.
This journey requires sincere commitment, allowing God to take control of what we cannot manage ourselves as we continue to seek His Kingdom above all else. We invite each believer to surrender fully to Him.
The Universal Church
The universal Church refers to the worldwide, spiritual family of all who have been spiritually reborn through faith in Jesus Christ.
- Christ is the head of this spiritual body.
- Every regenerated (bornagain) believer, no matter their nationality, denomination, or location, is a member.
- It is not confined by buildings, geography, or traditions; it is the global community of true followers of Jesus.
The Mission of the Church
We affirm that God has given the Church a central responsibility:
- To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a lost and broken world.
This means that every believer is called to participate in spreading the message of salvation, hope, and reconciliation through Christ.
As we yield to the Father's sovereign purpose, we act as earthly vessels of the Redeemer, proclaiming the life-giving radiance of the Gospel across the deepest depths of brokenness to draw every scattered spirit into the harbor of His kingdom.
The Local Church
While the universal church is spiritual and global, the local church is the visible, gathered expression of that larger body.
A local church is:
- A group of believers in Jesus Christ
- Baptised based on a genuine profession of faith
- United together for worship, service, and fellowship
- A community where believers grow, serve, and support one another
A Call to Awareness
The book of Revelation warns us about the signs of the last days. These signs, already visible in our world, include challenges and distortions of the Gospel.
As Jesus left the temple, He warned His disciples that even the most impressive earthly structures would one day fall. Later, on the Mount of Olives, the disciples asked Him privately about the signs of His return and the end of the age. Jesus responded with a loving but urgent call: “Watch out that no one deceives you.” He explained that many false messiahs would arise, and the world would face wars, conflicts, famines, and earthquakes. These troubles, He said, are only the beginning of birth pains; reminders that something greater is coming.
Jesus also warned that His followers would face persecution, betrayal, and hatred because of His name. Many would fall away, and false prophets would mislead crowds. Wickedness would increase, and the love of many would grow cold. Yet Jesus gave a promise full of hope: the one who stands firm to the end will be saved, and the gospel will be preached to every nation before the end comes.
He spoke of a coming moment of great distress; unlike anything the world has ever seen. In those days, deception will be strong, with false prophets performing signs to mislead even the elect. But Jesus reassured His people that His return will not be hidden or secret. Just as lightning flashes across the sky, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
After the time of distress, the heavens themselves will be shaken. The sun will darken, the moon will lose its light, and the stars will fall. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear, and all nations will see Him coming on the clouds with power and great glory. His angels will gather His people from every corner of the earth.
Jesus taught His disciples to stay spiritually awake. Just as a fig tree signals the coming of summer, the signs He described show that His return is near. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will never pass away. Yet the exact day and hour remain known only to the Father. His coming will be sudden; just as in the days of Noah, when people were living ordinary lives until the flood came.
Because of this, Jesus calls every believer to watch and be ready. His return will come at an unexpected hour. He blessed the faithful servant who continues doing the Master’s will, caring for others and living in obedience. But He warned that those who grow careless, worldly, or abusive will face judgment when He returns.
These warnings are also echoed in Matthew 24:3–9, 2Timothy 3:1–4.

Our Team
Our Team’s Spiritual Journey
Testimony of God’s Faithfulness
As a team, we have continually experienced God’s remarkable faithfulness throughout our spiritual journey. Each season of our lives has revealed His power and sovereignty, evident in the ways He has guided us through various challenges and circumstances. The unfolding of time has made His presence unmistakable, reminding us that God’s will is fulfilled not through our own efforts or willingness alone, but through His divine purpose and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Our experiences together have shown us that God’s plans are greater than anything we could orchestrate ourselves. We have learned to trust that the Holy Spirit moves freely and powerfully, shaping our lives and leading us in directions we may never have anticipated. Through every step, we have witnessed that God is the one who truly guides and sustains us, accomplishing His will in ways that far exceed our own understanding.
Senior Pastor Dieudonne
My calling has centred on passionately sharing the truths of Scripture with those who are willing to entrust their lives to Jesus Christ, our Saviour. It has been my joy to participate in the church’s journey; beginning with evangelism, deepening through seasons of intercessory prayer, and ultimately growing into a steadfast congregation since 2018. Each stage has demonstrated God’s faithfulness and purpose for our community.
I am grateful for the academic blessing of an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering and for the gift of a large, loving family, including not only my biological children but also those who have been entrusted to us spiritually through ministry. My personal growth has been shaped by pastoral training, leadership in intercessory prayer groups, and service across various ministries.
Serving as a leader within the church and helping others grow in their faith through the Word of God, by the grace of Jesus Christ, is truly a privilege. Even when facing challenges, I have experienced the sustaining grace of being held in God’s hands, trusting that His guidance is sure and His purposes are always accomplished.

Since God received me as His own and brought me to Perseverance Church in 2018, I have experienced His mercy in deep and personal ways. His favour has carried me, shaped me, and continually reminds me of His grace.

Prayer Request
Preparing Your Heart for Prayer
Before requesting prayer, it is important to first open your heart and surrender yourself fully to God. Begin this process with a prayer of submission, inviting God to work within you and guide your requests. This act of humility prepares you to approach God with sincerity and openness, laying the foundation for meaningful and heartfelt prayer.
Precious Lord Jesus,
I confess I have walked my own path, and now I humbly ask for your mercy and forgiveness. Jesus, I believe you paid the price for my sins, and that you conquered death so I could be made new. Today, I turn away from my past and embrace the new life you offer. Come into my heart, Lord, and be my Savior and my guide. Fill me with Your Spirit and lead me to your truth.
In the mighty and loving name of Jesus I pray. Amen
